Sunday Recap - April 8th

What you may or may not realize is that God has been working – even before you were born -perhaps for generations – to create the circumstances and situations in which he can use you for his will and good purpose. God is always at work – preparing you for His good purposes and glory and he matches you at the right time to what he has already been preparing around you. However, to be used by God, you must be in tune with God. You must hear his voice, recognize where God is at work, and then join Him in what he wants you to do.

Key Scriptures: My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.” John 5:17 (NIV) and “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”  John 15:5 (NIV)

Some Sunday takeaways on God being at work:

  • To be vitally connected to God, you must listen to Him in prayer.
  • To be vitally connected to God, you must be reading God’s word.
  • To be tuned in, you must be in relationship with other believers.
