Sunday Recap - May 6th
Whenever God invites us to join him in his work there will always be a crisis of belief. You’ll feel inadequate or unworthy and you’ll wonder if it's even possible. Fear will inevitably grip you and you’re faith will be tested.
Key Scriptures: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 (NIV)
Some Sunday takeaways on when in a crisis of belief:
The antidote to fear is always faith and obedience - Faith means, God, I believe you – even if I can’t see it.
Faith always involves risking - Some people want a guarantee of success before they obey God.
You can trust God - no matter the situation he will come through for you.
You are empowered - If God is for you, no one can stand against you.
You will be provided for - If God is willing to give up the most precious person in his life to give you salvation, is there anything he will withhold from you that you need?
